CONCEPT
Why electric human powered.
With an average range of 40 kilometers before any additional recharging, and a cruising bicycle-road speed of up to 35 km/h -to keep it within legal parameters- and a top speed of up to 65 km/h for actual street riding; the EHPV, works as a recumbent bicycle assisted by 3 small electric motors.
Covered by an ultralight body of Plexiglas/plastic and weather resistant nylon, the EHPV also collects energy from it's solar skin placed on it's roof; and it has the capability of being recharged from the grid, via it's plugging system, as well.
The chassis or frame of the vehicle is made of light aluminum, and in a similar fashion as to bicycle frames. All the mechanisms are simple and ultralight; utilizing technologies, parts and components -as drivetrains and brakes systems- from mountainbikes, recumbent trikes, velomobiles, e-bike, pedelec - where the rider's pedaling is assisted by a small electric motor-.
In the Four (4) seats version, pilot and co-pilot have both the ability to pedal the vehicle forward.
The pilot is the rider, and has to pedal to move the vehicle forward, sending the human power -which is assisted by 3 small electric motors- to the 4 wheels at once.

ENHANCED HUMAN MOBILITY
Our day by day transportation needs simplified to the minimum. We remain healthy, fit and strong while moving on our pedal-electric ultra light vehicle, inside a comfortable cabin fully protected from the weather; where each pedal-strike we give is assisted and multiplied in power by 3 small electric motors.
While we ride on an Electric Human Powered Vehicle, we are moving forward towards a future of sustainable transportation at a real human-scale level.
